Security dashboard
The main screen of the SmartFace station for most security applications is the Security Dashboard, which displays a preview of two selected cameras and a list of the latest security events.

Camera preview
The configurable camera preview can display up to two camera streams defined on the SmartFace platform with boundaries drawn around detected faces or people. You can change the selected cameras in camera preview settings.

If no camera is selected in any of the positions for the camera preview, you may see an empty camera placeholder instead of the real-time camera stream.

When the SmartFace Platform detect a face or identify a person, the system can display a bounding box with additional information about the detected object. Depending on the configuration, the detected object may look like this.

Recent events
The latest detection and identification of people is displayed in the Recent Events list section. In this version of SmartFace Station, one event notification represents one tracked face, identified face or tracked person. In case of identification, the event is displayed together with her or his image stored in the watchlist.
You can display the recent events for all cameras or only for selected ones. You can change this in the recent events settings.

The SmartFace platform in this version does not support pedestrian identification. The pedestrian identification function is planned to become part of the SmartFace platform in the future.
