Matching score type configuration

SmartFace Station allows you to change the type of matching score normalization.

To change matching score type in the SmartFace Station:

1. Click on Configuration in the left menu panel.

2. Go to SmartFace Station section.

3. Select the Matching score type.

   • Biometric score - to display the match score used by internal algorithms based on the FAR level distribution. The recommended value is Biometric score.

   • Linear score - to display the linear approximation of the biometric score.

4. Click SAVE CHANGES to confirm.

Biometric and Linear score and threshold visualization#

You can find information about matching score or its threshold setting at various locations of the SmartFace Station. The biometric matching score is displayed in green (e.g. 78). The linear matching score is displayed in orange (e.g. 78) or the prefix “LINEAR“ is used for setting of matching threshold value.
