- Case statuses — Cases now have a status field visible in the Case List table and Case Detail drawer. Examiners can track investigation progress across the full workflow.
- Persistent column configuration — Column selection, order, and width in the Case List table are saved per user and restored on next login.
- Evidence list — table and grid view — Evidence lists can be displayed in either table or grid layout. User preference is remembered between sessions.
Automated Enrollment-to-Evidence Search for Latent Prints
- When a person is enrolled, their fingerprints are automatically searched against latent evidence in all open cases. If a match above the configured threshold is found, a comparison examination is created automatically.
- Automatically created examinations are marked with a ⚡ symbol to distinguish them from manually created ones.
- Potential hits appear in the Examinations tab under Automated Enrollment-to-Evidence Searches.
- The feature is configurable per installation: threshold, candidate count, speed level, and galleries.
- Configurable deduplication parameters — Administrators can fine-tune deduplication behaviour via settings.
Investigation improvements
- Configurable minutiae display — Minutiae points in the comparison tool can now be toggled on/off independently.
- Minutiae count and image size in editor — The latent editor displays minutiae count and image dimensions directly in the toolbar.
- Comparison examinations from video — Examiners can create comparison examinations directly from video face tracklets without leaving the video manager.
Video manager
- Full-screen mode added for video evidence viewing.
- Play controls consolidated into a single row; volume display, colour selection labels, and font sizing are now consistent throughout.
- Video processing parameter form updated for more precise configuration.
Reporting
- Examination reports exported to
.docxnow reflect the latest case and examination data structures, including all ACE-V fields.
Bug fixes
- Hit List — Search by applicant ID for Known/Biometric Individual returns correct results. Deduplicated applicants now show the correct applicant ID in the Hit detail.
- Latent editor — Select tool no longer behaves as if Ctrl is permanently held.
- Search history — History mode is available when Search History is opened from Analytical Examination.
- Comparison examination — Creating a comparison from a video face tracklet no longer reads incorrect data. Fixed a blocker preventing comparison examinations from being created in certain scenarios.
- Administration — Case management settings no longer show stale values after navigation.
- Evidence — Uploaded evidence is immediately visible in personal cases after upload. Video evidence upload resolved for all database environments.

ACE-V Methodology
- Case visibility controls — Cases can be marked Public (visible to all), Private (visible only to the assigned user), Unassigned (default), or a custom category. Users see only cases in categories assigned to them.
- Role-based access control extended — New roles controlling access to each individual part of the Case Management module.
- ACE-V Examinations — A new entity in Case Management. Each examination is assigned to a specific user; an evidence item can have multiple examinations (one per examiner). The user must create an examination to proceed with evidence identification.
- ACE-V state machines — Separate state machines for Evidence and Examination. Statuses are changed manually, allowing flexibility to match agency-specific procedures.
Deployment
- All new installations use Kubernetes by default.
- In high-availability deployments, messages are persisted across node restarts.
